About Us

Championing interconnectedness and support for the Canadian Caribbean Diaspora and diverse seniors community

Our Story

Ubuntu Legacy Community Care is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Canadian Caribbean Diaspora and diverse seniors aged 55+ in Mississauga's Peel Region.

Since our establishment, we have been unwavering in our commitment to providing support, well-being programs, and combating isolation among our seniors. Our work is grounded in the Ubuntu philosophy—"I am because we are"—which recognizes that our individual well-being is deeply connected to the well-being of our community.

We continuously strive for improvement and expansion to better serve our community, building a legacy of care, dignity, and mutual support that honors the wisdom and contributions of our elders.
