Garden Care and Maintanance Workshop

Ecosource will walk through garden care and maintenance fundamentals for the Summer season like companion planting, interplanting, succession planting, crop rotation, maximizing the harvest, harvesting techniques, organic fertilizers and pest management techniques. Emphasis will be placed on organic, sustainable gardening techniques that respond to Mississauga’s changing climate through the promotion of healthy soil, water conservation, and other low-impact gardening. The workshop is great for residents with limited or no gardening experience. Everyone is welcome. The workshop will include a hands-on gardening activity involving organic fertilizers and natural pest control solutions so please dress appropriately
